TRIBAL SOUL:
Tribal Soul, made by Hari Darshan, is an exclusive range of incense inspired by the Native American smudging technique. The smudging ceremony is a powerful cleansing ritual from the Native North American Tradition, where herbs, tree barks or resins are burned and the person or place bathed in the fragrant smoke.
Tribal Soul incense is hand-rolled in India. This incense is child labor-free and ethically produced.
SCENTS:
Myrrh resin has a warm, spicy, balsamic scent which favors meditation.
Myrrh is a natural resin extracted from the Commiphora tree. It has been used throughout history as a perfume, incense and medicine. It is also mentioned in many ancient texts for its ability to connect to the Divine. Myrrh is traditionally used in prayer and as an offering in protection rituals. It is also highly regarded for its perceived purifying properties and for helping cleanse the soul and clear the mind.
The vanilla-like fragrance of Sweetgrass combines in these sticks with the sweet herbaceous scent of Cedar to protect, purify and to bring positivity.
Sweetgrass and Cedar are two of the main plants used by Native people along with Sage and Tobacco. Sweetgrass is the sacred hair of Mother Earth. Native peoples of North America burn Cedar while praying and its smoke it said to attract the good spirits and eliminate negative energies.
White Sage has a highly aromatic and resinous scent. Expect woody and lightly herbal notes.
White Sage is a plant from the mint family. For centuries, Native Americans of North America initiated purification ceremonies and healing sessions by burning its dry leaves bundled into smudge sticks. White Sage is considered sacred by some and is believed by some to help cleanse a space of evil spirits and negative energies. Its smoke is used by many to bless, cleanse and support healing of the person or object being smudged.
The sweet balsamic aroma of Palo Santo is wonderfully complemented by the fresh clean Pine fragrance, providing a soothing and rejuvenating environment.
Palo Santo which means “Holy Wood” in Spanish, is a mystical tree that grows in the Amazon rainforests. Its wood, leaves and oil have been used by indigenous Shamans to heal the body and soul, purify spaces, clear negative energies and to prepare for meditation. Pinon Pine Resin is a favorite in the Native American and other traditions.
