A Note on Backflow Cones: Backflow incense cones are designed to flow downwards, rather than upwards, and the incense flow will create a hazy atmosphere or ‘pouring’ effect, depending on the incense burner used and the space it’s used in. For full visual effect, backflow cones should be burned in a backflow incense burner and in spaces with less active airflow. Most backflow cones have a hollow channel through the center which creates the backflow effect.
